The property was clean and the room was really nice and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Parking was included in room fee. There are restaurants, shops and Mayfair Mall nearby, all about a 5 minute drive away. Would definitely recommend a stay here. The price was great.
Absolutely excellent for a budget friendly place and has super friendly staff. Only downside is we happened to stay during a time they were fighting with removing sugar ants, but a man at the front desk was happy to give us an ant trap to help with it, and it was really only in the bathroom anyway. Will likely stay again in the future!
Very basic accommodation but very clean and newly renovated. Parking is a bit of a challenge, especially if you need a larger spot. No elevator so be aware of you have mobility issues. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good budget accommodation.
Older hotel, but updated. Had a room with the kitchenette. Stove, fridge, microwave and all the utensils. Close to the main street but surprisingly really quiet in the room. For the price this is a great place to stay. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.
Staff were great, and had suggestions for everything from bus routes, EV charging, local eateries etc. Room was just as the photos. Had a small fridge and a small microwave, Bed super comfy. It took us 18 mins to walk to downtown (but we were hoofing it due to the rain). Great value especially as the parking was included. Considering it's adjacent to a very busy road, I was impressed how quiet it was
There was construction, which isn't the hotel's fault. But no major store that was closer than a 30 mins speed walk. I love my tea and they lent me a regular mug instead of using just paper cups. Everyone was very kinda and polite. .will returnN
There's no kitchen on site. Parking was very convenient and safe. Staff were receptive to my needs. Only slight downside is there was no working heating system in my room. There were 3 portable space heaters in my room. Only 2 worked. It didn't really bother me, but a couple or family might find themselves tripping over heaters. And it's not as effective as baseboards or forced air. No heat was on when I arrived. It took a long time to heat the room up, and then I ended up waking up in a pool of sweat. Room was super clean and a great value for Victoria.
Stayed at The Arbutus Inn in Victoria over the Christmas holidays. The rooms were excellent. Everything was clean and updated and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely return and recommend this location.
